Pendulum Snake Explained

Here's a simple web animation I made before even starting to build this.
I made it to make sure my math holds up and I will get these cool patterns.
The input is a comma separated list of periods, it accepts simple mathematical operations for a more readable list of periods.
I initialized it with the exact periods of the one I made.
Feel free to test different sets of periods.
